Insomniac confirmed that Peter Parker will get the Symbiote suit. Spiderman is able to extend his reach and smash enemies against the wall using the Symbiotes.
He's also able to use the Symbiote to turn them into multiple tentacles to barrel them into enemies at one point. Those tentacles can also be used to shield Peter from attacks and parry enemy blows to send them flying backwards. And lastly, he's able to use these new arms to grab multiple enemies at once and slam them all into the ground.
