Resident Evil 4 Camera Fix

How to Change FOV in Resident Evil 4 Remake 2023

Hey PC players, are Resident Evil 4? Are you tired of this happening to you? Getting backed into a wall or up against a box or close to a doorway into a camera zooms in so far that you can only see your hand? Are you tired of losing 30% of your peripheral vision every time you know them? Well? Worry no more.

because I'm here to help. Work that used to do all kinds of cameras again. One of those crazy PC monitors to figure out how to use it.

It's simple, All you have to do is download the zip file and put the D8 input file into your game folder where the executable file is. I'll put a link to the model, the pin comment below.

Next you simply launch the game and now you'll have the mod menu in the upper left corner that you can open and close by pressing the insert key on your keyboard. We're just looking for the camera section and we're going to turn on Global FOV.

This is going to lock your FOV and now you'll see that the aim zoom is completely gone. Until Capcom gives us the option to adjust a museum in the menu, this is what we'll have to do. The game feels much smoother with this change.

You'll also notice that the camera zooms in less when backed up. The text, of course, but it should prevent you from getting so close that you can't see your character anymore. It's an improvement at least. You can also widen your FOV if you feel it's necessary. For me, I didn't need to, I stuck to the default 80 setting in the programme.

Now there is a downside to this mod. It doesn't adjust itself for cut scenes or item interactions. Will see that using a key on the door makes the door look very far away, and I guess that's not so bad. But what it does to cut scenes utterly destroys the cinematography. Just look at what happens to the camera in the opening auto cut scene.

So you'll have to open the menu and turn off the global FOV for cut scenes until someone makes a version of this mod that doesn't do this for now. If you can deal with that slight inconvenience, you can make your gameplay experience much better by keeping a consistent FOV during combat. Thank you.
